Hey there SHARE! students!
I suppose this finds you sitting in the house, doing your school work, helping out around the house, eating more than necessary, maybe due to some boredom? How am I doing so far?
I have to say, I personally, have spent more than my fair share of time on the ol’ internet and social media. How about you?
We at the SHARE! National Office want to encourage you to begin looking for things to do that will enhance your “Shelter In Place” experience. It is a perfect time to take up a new craft, learn a new skill, create art, write poems and stories to give to lonely neighbors.
Do you have young children at your house? Well, make up a fun game or obstacle course for them. So many people would appreciate your creativity.
I see there are FREE courses on the internet for photography, art classes, yoga and more. Google it!
Are you fairly musical? How about recording a Covid19 parody song that you can share.
Host a movie showing through zoom, with the rest of the exchange students in your area? Let us know how it went.
Do you like to sew? There are many groups around the country making masks for medical people and also for the rest of us. Lend a hand.
You get the idea... Do something new and cool, post a picture on your Facebook with the hashtag #SHARETHELOVE. We will post our favorites on our national Facebook site.
We are living in very interesting times. Document what you are up to and share it with the rest of the SHARE! family.
Remember… Be Positive, Stay Negative!
